Euroflorist has 3 operational locations, Southampton, Amsterdam, and Malmö. The Procurement manager position can be situated in either of the 3 locations.
Role Description
This is a full-time role as a Procurement Manager, office-based Monday-Wednesday with the option to work from home Thursday and Friday. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, procurement, and contract management on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibility & Authority
* Build, maintain & manage supplier relationships
* Evaluate & negotiate with new & existing suppliers
* Purchase goods that meet the quantity & quality expectations of the organisation
* Track inventory and restock goods when needed
* Compare available goods with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing
* Conduct research for new products & suppliers
* Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues
* Stay up to date on industry trends and new products
Requirements
* Degree or similar qualification
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a similar role at an international organization.
* Strong communication skills
* Proven negotiation skills
* Analytical and problem-solving skills
* Fluent in English
* You have a commercial mind-set and are target driven.
