Due to the nature of work that Sonic Healthcare UK undertakes, our clients require that Employees filling certain roles, need, as part of their on-boarding to complete a DBS Check. This role falls into the category of requiring a DBS check (standard).
About the role:
Permanent - Full Time
There is an exciting opportunity within Health Services Laboratories department of Specimen Reception Area located at the Barnet Hospital site to recruit into a newly established Deputy Head of Department role. If you would like to be involved in shaping the future of the pathology services at HSL and are seeking to improve your management skillset you are invited to apply. Experience of working in a Blood Sciences laboratory is essential. You will be part of a team responsible for the day to day running of the routine Specimen Reception Area and have the opportunity to play an integral part in introducing new methodologies and technologies and providing a service of the highest standard to our service users.
You will be working 37.5 hrs per week on a standard 09:00-17:30 working pattern though there is an expectation that you may be required to work an extended day on occasion at short notice in the event of service disruption. Salaries are comparable with agenda for change pay scales dependent on experience.
