Salary
£34,866 to £46,485 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.
The purpose of this role will be to act as a Project and Implementation Manager for the Mental Health Mission (MHM) at the University of Nottingham.
The MHM is a national programme aimed at increasing research capacity for mental health research by supporting leadership, developing digital registries, clinical research facilities, and industry collaboration. Our site in Nottingham is linked to Birmingham in the Midlands Mental Health Mission (M-MHM), focusing on adult mood disorders and psychosis.
You will work across these areas of interest and develop close liaison with Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) and the Birmingham site, with some input into the wider national network, in order to collaboratively lead workstreams that include development of research, digital platforms, and Patient Participant Involvement (PPI).
You will be expected to help develop local MHM strategy in these areas and provide reports to relevant M-MHM and national committees.
You will join an established team, led jointly by Dr Neil Nixon (Associate Professor in Mood Disorders) and Dr Mohammed Zia Ul Haq Katshu (Associate Professor in Psychiatry), at the Institute of Mental Health (IMH), University of Nottingham.
The duties and percentage time allocation provides an indication and framework for the role and should not be regarded as a definitive list or allocation. Other reasonable duties commensurate with the grade, spirit and purpose of the post may be requested.

The post is offered on a fixed term contract until 31 December 2027. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week); however, applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29.25 hours per week).
