Looking for an exciting leadership role in an outstanding trust that has partnership and community at its heart?
Dorset HealthCare (DHC) is offering just that as we search for our new Chief Operating Officer to play a key role in the next stage of our journey.
Part of Dorset's integrated care system, Our Dorset, the Trust has a long history of working in partnership. We're committed to achieving the very best outcomes for our communities and we know there's even more we can do to join up services, improve population health and tackle inequalities.
This is an exciting time to join DHC as we work in our new federated leadership model with Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, with a joint Chair and Chief Executive across both trusts. We're also working with our GP Alliance to develop health and care services focused on addressing the specific needs of our diverse neighbourhoods across the county.
As Chief Operating Officer, you will play an important part within our executive team and on DHC's Board, empowering colleagues to deliver the highest levels of operational performance and ensure consistency across our services.
Your highly developed relationship-building and communication skills will be a key strength, as will an excellent understanding of how to deal compassionately with potentially sensitive, contentious and complex issues at the most senior level.
As an inspirational and compassionate leader, you will provide direction, purpose, pace and energy to ensure colleagues are engaged, empowered and well-informed. It is important to you to be a visible leader, both of a geographically dispersed and multi-disciplinary workforce, and when working with partner organisations.
In return we offer an attractive Very Senior Manager salary, flexible working, a strong focus on your wellbeing and the chance to be part of our exciting journey.
And of course, life in beautiful Dorset offers everything you could ask for with the famous Jurassic Coast, bustling market towns, and miles of rolling countryside.
