Jenson Fisher are delighted to be working with an expanding organisation based in the East End of Glasgow, to recruit an Accounts Administrator on a permanent full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an HNC Graduate or candidate looking for their first role in Accounts. This would also suit a candidate with some administration experience looking to gain purchase and sales ledger experience. The main duties: - To ensure all goods received are matched to purchases invoices (and supplier delivery notes and our purchase orders) for price and quantity - To raise debit notes where supplier invoices are overstated and ensure Stock records are updated for errors in Goods received - To ensure completeness of information - Posting all invoices and debit notes in a timely manner to ensure settlement discounts are obtained - To cover in running daily cash payments to meet supplier terms and ensure all cash is posted to the ledger - To assist in reconciliation of supplier accounts /payments to statements and other duties as cover for Purchase Ledger - To provide month end accrual lists of goods received with invoices not yet posted to the purchase ledger - Daily banking of cheques, recording return cheques, and processing cash receipts to customers accounts Skills required: - Accounts or Admin experience is preferred - High levels of accuracy and attention to detail - Good Excel skills - Excellent communication skills - Strong team player The salary is competitive and will be dependant on experience with an excellent work life balance.
