The Role: Junior IT Administrator As a Junior IT Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our technology operates efficiently by providing exceptional support to our global workforce. This hands-on position involves troubleshooting problems, managing devices, and enhancing the user experience. Additionally, you will contribute to broader projects that help transform the company. What You'll Be Doing: - User Support: Daily ticket management for internal users and 2nd tier support for contractors. - Documentation: Create and maintain IT support documentation for common problems and processes. Maintain knowledge base. - Onboarding/Offboarding: Manage onboarding and offboarding, including accounts, equipment, training and permissions. - Project Assistance: Provide support during the Zoho migration project and other IT projects. - Asset Management: Track company devices, ensuring proper maintenance and updates, including MDM ownership. - Training: New software training for existing users, onboarding training and refresher sessions. - Security: Coordinate with the rest of the IT Team in maintaining security procedures, active monitoring of systems and monthly reporting. - Remote support: Support users across the Globe. If you’ve got the drive, we’ve got the role Key Skills/Attributes Desired: Tech Stack - Google Workspace Administration: Proficiency with managing Google Workspace (email, drive, groups, permissions, etc.). - macOS and Mobile Device Management (MDM) Support: Knowledge of macOS and MDM troubleshooting, software installation, updates, and configurations. - CRM Familiarity (Zoho is preferred): Basic understanding of a CRM (or willingness to learn) to support the transition and provide ongoing user assistance. - Networking Basics: Basic network configuration understanding. - Hardware Support: Ability to handle physical tasks like setting up laptops, monitors, network cabling, managing peripherals, and minor hardware repairs. - Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel): Ability to troubleshoot basic Office 365 app problems. Soft Skills - Communication: Ability to explain technical issues in simple terms to non-technical users. - Problem-Solving: A resourceful and logical approach to diagnosing and fixing IT issues. - Customer Service: Patience and a user-first mindset, given they’ll be the first point of contact for support.
