As a Retail Shift Manager at Lidl, you’ll help us maintain our high standards day after day. From motivating your team to taking responsibility for the shop floor, you’ll keep our store running like clockwork, thriving in a fast-paced and challenging environment. In return, we offer a competitive hourly pay rate based on equal opportunity and pay structures, plus an extra £2.00 per hour for work during bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for night shifts. Our benefits package is designed to support your well-being and life outside of work.

What you'll do
* Motivate and support your team, learning from our Leadership and Company Principles
* Solve problems swiftly and delegate tasks effectively
* Create an environment where your colleagues can succeed alongside you
* Manage store operations and colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager
* Handle stock, cash processes, inventory, and stock management to ensure smooth shifts
* Provide excellent customer service every time they visit your store
What you'll need
* Experience leading a team in a busy, fast-paced environment
* Ability to delegate tasks and motivate your team effectively
* Patience and a friendly manner, with the ability to remain calm in any situation
* A passion to thrive as part of the Store Team
* A proactive and encouraging approach to help colleagues develop and improve store operations
