Role overview
Are you an e-Commerce Specialist with a passion for online sales, digital marketing, and great customer experience?
Ripon Farm Services is looking for a proactive and detail-driven e-Commerce Specialist to manage and optimise our growing online platforms — including Shopify, Amazon, TikToc, eBay, and more.
This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants to make a real impact by growing a successful online retail presence.
Ripon Farm Services is a leading John Deere agricultural and horticultural dealership with 13 branches across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, and Teesside. We are currently seeking a hands-on and motivated e-Commerce Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce platforms.
* Oversee stock levels, order fulfilment and supply chain logistics — solving problems before they arise.
* Optimise product listings across all platforms to maximise visibility and conversion.
* Write creative, SEO-rich copy, including technical specs and engaging product descriptions.
* Monitor and report on key performance metrics (traffic, conversions, ROI, etc.).
* Execute and support digital marketing campaigns, including PPC.
* Respond to online customer enquiries to ensure a smooth customer experience.
* Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and other departments to ensure website performance and brand consistency.
* Identify and act on opportunities to grow our online presence and sales channels.
What We’re Looking For:
* 2–3 years of hands-on experience in e-commerce and online marketplaces.
* Proven track record in running PPC campaigns and using analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
* Experience managing product-based websites (Shopify preferred) and online marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, etc.).
* Strong copywriting skills with a flair for writing creative and informative content.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
* Able to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-moving environment.
* A positive, proactive mindset and a team-focused attitude.
* Experience in a consumer product-based industry is preferred.
