Stock Controller
£24000 per annum
Location: Chandler's Ford
Hours: Full time / permanent - Monday – Friday
This is a temporary role to begin with an opportunity to remain permanent.
Dynamite Recruitment is working in partnership with a very well-established business based in Chandler's Ford. Due to a busy period, our client is looking to recruit an Administrator to provide support to the warehouse and ensure that stock is managed efficiently.
As a Purchasing Administrator / Stock Controller, you will work from the Head Office in Chandler's Ford within a specialist team.
Key Tasks as a Purchasing Administrator / Stock Controller:
1. Manage stock control for the warehouse team using specialist systems.
2. Deal with a range of purchase orders.
3. Organise stock and uniform for new starters and leavers.
4. Handle all technician-related stock requests.
5. Manage a busy inbox and respond to emails within agreed timeframes.
6. Allocate staff correctly and raise requests where any discrepancies arise.
7. Communicate with technicians and other departments within the business to manage stock requests.
8. Complete general warehouse administration.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Good administration skills.
2. Experience working under pressure in a busy environment.
3. Computer literate, including the use of Excel.
4. Able to multitask and prioritize workload.
5. Proactive and self-motivated attitude to work.
6. Able to work well independently as well as part of a team.
7. Full ownership and accountability.
