Where does the role fit in? Oakfield House is a service that provides a housing solution for people where they can practice and gain independent living skills to improve their opportunity to sustain a tenancy in the near future. The team at Oakfield House will work positively and proactively with clients to change their lives by helping them to establish accommodation back within the community. Oakfield House consists of 5 individual accommodation spaces and communal areas where the team can carry out workshops and activities that teach new skills or develop existing ones. All our support teams across Pobl work using the Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) framework. Support is also tailored to the individual with a person-centred approach being central to our way of working. Consideration in how we deliver support is given to each supported person’s unique experiences and their own goals and aspirations they want to work towards. Day to day duties: Meeting new people with unique experiences and stories to tell Engaging and interacting with the people we support to help them connect with other support services and being someone, they can talk to Delivering workshops relating to tenancy management and health and wellbeing Welfare checks Ensuring the building is secure including health & safety checks and maintaining an awareness of who is in the building Dealing with challenging behaviours Addressing any additional needs, the people we support might have Please refer to the job description for more detail on the role What are the pay and benefits?
