The successful candidate will be motivated, committed, and forward-thinking with experience and enthusiasm in managing a GMS GP practice. Main responsibilities will include; M anaging and coordinate all aspects of practice functionality. Motivating and managing staff. Optimising efficiency and financial performance. Ensuring the practice achieves its long-term strategic objectives in a safe and effective working environment. Through innovative ways of working, leading the team in promoting quality & clinical governance. Ensuring the practice complies with CQC regulations. HR management; s taffing, recruitment and organisational development. Producing performance data and meeting targets. Strategic management and business development and finance. About the Candidate If you are an experienced practice manager looking for a new challenge, then we would love to hear from you. All applicants should have the following skills and qualifications: A strong head for finance and NHS contract management. Experience of a wide range of HR functions including recruitment, training, appraisals, pension administration and payroll. Knowledge of compliance and service delivery. Aware of the NHS landscape and direction of travel. Clinical IT system experience to include searches, optimising use of IT & performance. Organised and responsive approach. Interpersonal skills - coaching, supporting and building staff as individuals and as a team. Leadership skills. Experience of automating processes. About Us The Burnham Surgery is a n established & popular GP practice in Burnham on Crouch, serving 9,800 patients and currently growing. We have 3 GP partners, 2 salaried GPs, 1 nurse prescriber, 4 practice nurses, 3 HCAs, a full-time assistant practice manager and highly committed and enthusiastic administrative and reception staff. We are a training practice with the capacity to host 3 GP registrars, medical and nursing students and we also have an admin/reception apprentice. We adopt a team approach to patient care and endeavour to monitor the service provided to patients, to ensure that it meets current standards of excellence.
