Job Summary
Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) is a global hotel company with properties located in major cities and four continents under The Langham Hotels and Resorts, Cordis Hotels and Resorts and Ying’nFlo brands. It is the hospitality arm of Great Eagle Holdings, a leading property development company in Hong Kong.
Key Responsibilities:
* This role will work closely with the Vice President – Sales & Marketing Greater China and will be responsible for driving the commercial marketing strategy, developing campaigns, and working with local teams to execute key initiatives across properties in China to achieve regional revenue targets, brand preferences, and strategic regional market share goals. The position will be expected to work with corporate key stakeholders, regional stakeholders, and key stakeholders across the properties to ensure the successful delivery and implementation of regional marketing campaigns and strategic initiatives on a local level. This includes the global commercial strategy, tactical campaigns, destination content development, and media partnerships. The role will be expected to help identify strategic opportunities and drive change within the region to enhance commercial performance for China hotels.
* Direct and oversee the implementation of the regional and global marketing strategy in China.
* Lead and initiate strategic and tactical regional campaigns to market share growth.
* Work closely with Marcom teams of each hotel to drive performance.
* Work closely with the global/regional marketing agency to drive performance across the region.
* Work closely with regional revenue and sales leaders to help meet business goals.
* Analyse overall performance and trends within the region.
* Identify strategic opportunities and local brand partnerships that can help drive regional performance.
* Support China inbound and outbound campaigns and work closely with regional leaders (rest of the world) to implement the campaigns.
* Support recruitment and succession planning efforts for local Marcom openings.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing or related subjects.
* Preferably 10+ years of experience in developing and leading marketing and communication for a global brand with a strategic vision for how to maximize business results.
* At least 6 years’ experience within a supervisory/managerial role leading marketing work.
* Possesses a deep understanding and solid experience in managing commercial marketing and consumer insights.
* Experience engaging with senior leadership.
* Well-developed leadership skills; effective relationship management skills and strategic thinking with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
* Excellent skills in written and verbal communications.
* Team player, responsible, self-driven individual with a confident and outgoing personality.
* High level of attention to detail, organized, proactive, self-motivated, and independent.
* Strong presentation skills.
