Have you ever wondered what a career in Substance Misuse would be like? We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to fill our secondment post - and give it a try.
You will work as a member of Essex STaRS in providing high quality, evidence-based, holistic nursing care to service users in line with your NMC professional code of conduct and Trust policies.
Main Duties of the Job
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic motivated individual to join our Chelmsford based team. This post can either be a developmental post for a newly qualified Band 5 or can be offered to an experienced mental health or general nurse with an interest in the substance misuse field.
The service promotes life long learning and opportunities for continuing professional development.
We work with patients with opiate and alcohol misuse issues in partnership with other agencies.
We offer opiate substitute prescribing and ambulatory detox and provide holistic treatments that includes physical health assessments, BBV vaccinations and drug screening.

Detailed Job Description and Main Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY: You will work as a member of Essex STaRS in providing high quality, evidence-based, holistic nursing care to service users.
As required by your Team Manager, you will have responsibility for the day-to-day supervision and management of lower banded staff within your professional group and team locality.
