The UK’s leading designer, manufacturer, and installer of bespoke physical security products are looking for a motivated and experienced Field Service Technician to join their dynamic team. Hours: 8 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday Benefits: Company Van, Overtime, Uniform, Tools, Pension, Training etc. Role: You will be the primary point of contact for all service-related tasks, including maintenance, repair, installation, and troubleshooting. To be successful in this role, you must be a self-starter and have a passion for problem-solving. You must also have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to maintain and update your own van stock. You must also be comfortable working with a tablet for job reporting. Role also requires someone who has experience using power tools and drills. As part of your training, you will be required to attend college one day per week, which your employer covers. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment, adhering to company policies and procedures, and driving service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximises customer retention, and increases profitability. Suitable Candidate Field Service experience within mechanical, electrical environment is preferable. ( 1 - 2-year mechanical experience preferred) IT skills (Proficient in mobile device/tablet use). Ability to troubleshoot, i.e. repair equipment. Positive can-do self-motivated attitude towards work and fellow team members & willingness to support other technicians in the field. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers. Full UK Driving Licence. This role supports clients in the Essex area, so suitable candidates must live there. The role is field-based and requires someone who is happy to cover a large part of the Essex area. As part of your training, you will be required to attend college one day per week.
