Location: Hybrid - A blend of working from home and your nominated hub office, we have hubs in London, Bristol, Manchester and Oxford. Specific patterns for working in the office are not mandated, and the frequency of time worked in the office is agreed with your manager. Meeting in person is something we value so you may need to travel on occasion to any of our hub offices.

About the role:
As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will craft, code and implement customised solutions within the Salesforce platform. You will lead in the design, development, support, maintenance and protection of the platform at Jisc, playing a vital role in continually improving and enhancing the platform.
You’ll collaborate with multi-functional teams, including the DXP team, development and scrum masters and product owners to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements. You will work and collaborate with stakeholders using your expertise to understand requirements, shaping process and supporting in translating these into development tasks.
This is a varied role where you will have the opportunity to work on a number of diverse and exciting projects, taking responsibility to lead a team of developers in achieving key transformation and business performance activities.

Other responsibilities will include:
* Provide line management and leadership for the Salesforce developers within the team and support their professional development in the role.
* Advise on opportunities for Salesforce development to enhance corporate efficiency and effectiveness.
* Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of policy and process within the team to promote best practice and adoption of industry frameworks including Agile and DevOps.
Key Skills and Experience:
* Exposure to the following technologies: Salesforce SalesCloud for CRM and/or Salesforce CPQ.
* Experience leading teams and projects – (this could be leadership skills outside of work)
* Demonstrable experience working within Agile and DevOps frameworks.
* Proficiency using Visual Studio Code, Salesforce CLI and Extensions.
* Knowledge in the following technologies: Copado / Conga / Adobe Sign (integrated) / JIRA / Confluence / GitHub would be advantageous.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
* Effective communication and collaboration skills.
