Job Description:
As a Rapid Response Coordinator, you will be working with a team of professionals – including first responders, healthcare providers, hospitals, emergency departments, and community-based agencies. You will work within and alongside the State of NH Rapid Response system of care. You will facilitate the effective and efficient performance of the Rapid Response Team as they provide psychiatric evaluation and disposition services in a variety of settings. You will also coordinate office-based crisis stabilization, Interim Care, and referrals to our Perinatal outpatient clinic. This is a first shift position with rotating on-call hours.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the daily operations of the Rapid Response team, including provisions of clinical care, staff supervision, and fostering community relationships.
2. Recruitment duties, including hiring and training of a multidisciplinary team.
3. Scheduling to provide 24/7 coverage.
4. Collaboration with a state-wide system of Rapid Response teams, comprised of 10 community mental health centers and a centralized access point.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. This is a fast-paced, dynamic position that requires flexibility, multi-tasking, and strong crisis management skills.
2. Training in crisis intervention, suicide risk assessment, clinical supervision, and integrated treatment for co-occurring disorders.
3. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Education:
Master’s degree in the human services field is required.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a mental health treatment environment, with supervisory experience.
Qualifications:
1. Must possess a valid driver's license with liability insurance in the minimum amounts required by the agency.
2. Clinical license preferred, and will consider license eligible.
