Main duties of the job As a Consultant in Trauma & Orthopaedics (Spine Interest), you will play a key role in delivering expert spinal orthopaedic care, contributing to trauma services, and supporting education and research initiatives. The successful candidate will join the established spinal team at STSFT, which currently comprises of 4 full time consultants, 2 specialist physiotherapists and 3 specialist nurse practitioners. You will have an interest in the generality of spinal orthopaedics, as it is expected that this likely to make up all of the elective practice. Development of a relevant special interest within spinal orthopaedics would be encouraged.
