Do you live local to Nottingham & have extensive Warehouse Supervision experience? Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor for a successful client in the central Nottingham area.

Role Description:
This role will assist the Warehouse Manager in all tasks and duties allocated to our warehouse. In this role, it is crucial to ensure tasks are carried out in a timely and accurate manner by helping to effectively communicate and motivate the team alongside the other Warehouse Supervisors in different departments.
Pay & Benefits for you:
* Starting Salary of £28,000 - £30,000 per year (dependant on experience)

Duties include:
* Assisting the Warehouse Manager in the efficient management and control of the warehouse operation. Organising the safe and efficient receipt, storage, rotation and despatch of products and ensuring the warehouse and driving teams can fulfil operational and customer demand.
* Taking a practical hands-on approach and undertaking the various warehouse activities, stock taking and implementing department policies and procedures to ensure an efficient operation.
* Assisting the management team in sharing ideas to improve operation, recommending, supporting and implementing policies and procedures for continuous improvement.
* Working with the Warehouse Manager to ensure efficient and effective use of the warehouse space, including layout and future capacity requirements.
* Assisting with delivery vehicle maintenance related administration including tachograph admin.
* Where required, liaising with transport companies in a timely way and handling any concerns.
