Reports to: The Managing Director
The company is a UK manufacturer of consumer products based in Coventry supplying the major UK retailers across the storage, garden, food storage and housewares categories. This new position is an interesting and varied role incorporating both general administration and systems expertise. The person will report to the Managing Director and the role will cover a wide variety of tasks which facilitate the smooth running of a busy manufacturing business everything from general administration through to facilities and event management.
We are searching for a Business Co-ordinator who will work at the heart of the organisation consulting with all departments including Sales & Marketing, Finance, Logistics & Manufacturing to make things happen! The successful applicant will work alongside the Managing Director to support the day-to-day running of the business.

The Role:
(The following list is not exhaustive)
* Acting as a first point of contact for the Managing Director - dealing with correspondence and phone calls.
* Compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence.
* Managing databases and filing systems.
* Implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems.
* Co-ordinating activity with different departments to ensure end goals & business KPI’s are achieved.
* Liaising with suppliers and customers.
* Creating & maintaining price files
* Management of a team of seven (across three departments)
The Person:
Ideally educated to degree level you will be keen to join a company that can offer a wide and varied role dealing with all aspects of the operation from manufacturing through to end supply of a volume consumer product range. Experience in a similar role is not essential but experience in the commercial world (ideally manufacturing environment) is required.
