Band 3 - £24,071 - £25,674 per annum (pro rata for part time hours)
12 week assignment on Bank
Health Outreach, located in Ipswich but spanning the whole of Suffolk, is looking for a professional, conscientious, calm and confident individual to be part of the Reception/Administration Team.
This is a 12 week post initially with flexibility around hours/days
To work as an integral part of the team supporting the delivery of all aspects of patient care and professional administrative support. You will be expected to work with service users, clinicians and other practitioners within the service

What is Staff Bank?
Our EPUT NHS staff bank is an entity managed by the trust that hires clinical and non-clinical healthcare professionals to take on shifts at our trust hospitals and community settings. Here at EPUT we maintain our own bank of specialist staff to ensure that we are able offer safe and effective care at all times.
All our permanent staff are automatically enrolled onto the staff bank however this does not mean you have to work any additional shifts, but the option is there for you if you wish.
If you are joining our Trust in a fixed term role, please indicate on your New Starter Paperwork that you wish to join our staff bank.
This role outline serves to provide an illustrative example of the duties and responsibilities you may be expected to undertake during the course of your normal duties. It is not an exhaustive list and you will therefore be required to undertake other responsibilities and duties that are considered to be commensurate with the band.
· To data input and maintain information on computerised databases or systems (ie. SystmOne, ICE, MS Office etc.)
· Assist senior staff with the ongoing assessment and observation of service users and provide timely and appropriate feedback
· Assist in the risk assessment of the individual and of the potential hazards in the environment
· Provide practical support to service users, carers and colleagues
· Liaise with clinical team members in relation to urgent referrals or other emergencies
· Adhere to Trust guidelines on confidentiality of patient records at all times
· Photocopying, filing and maintaining correspondence records as required
· Report and document incidents as required
· Will need to have the ability to confidently and sensitively deal with individuals who may sometimes be distressed or upset
· Book and coordinate initial health assessments for team
· Take and process meeting minutes
· Support the clinical multi-disciplinary team with chaperone duties
· Reception duties in patient and non-patient areas
· Directing and dealing with incoming or outgoing telephone calls as required and maintain an efficient message system co-ordinating with team members
· Collating, sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing post
· Liaise with internal and external parties and agencies as required by the team
· Ordering of clinical and non-clinical supplies and equipment
· Keep team diary up to date and manage appointments and meeting and regular commitments as required
· Liaise with maintenance and facilities departments as required regarding building and general maintenance
· Be responsive and flexible to service needs and changes across the locality
