As a Tim Hortons Restaurant Manager, you will have the overall responsibility for managing the restaurant operations.

Responsibilities
* Lead by example treating customers as top priority.
* Be customer-focused in all areas of the restaurant operations.
* Accurate staff scheduling that meets customer demand.
* Support the whole team to maintain operational efficiency.
* Conduct regular store walks, viewing from the eyes of the customer.
* Encourage staff to share suggestions and concerns.
* Recruitment of team including interviews, onboarding, and training.
* Provide feedback to all members of the team on performance, set goals and objectives, and provide support and guidance.
* Manage absence and monitor payroll information for all employees.
* Work alongside the Shift Managers to identify high performers and employees with potential.
* Create a positive teamwork environment ensuring that all employees are treated with dignity and respect and are free from discrimination.
* Performance management when necessary, working with the HR Department.
* Have an in-depth understanding of sales, popular products, peak trade times, and adjust accordingly.
* Ensure all products are correctly merchandised and at sufficient levels, and all aspects of the marketing campaigns.
* Coach employees to upsell and suggestive sell to customers.
* Complete weekly cost control reports, i.e., P&L.
* Constantly evaluate where the restaurant could improve based on employee incentives to bring focus to continuous improvement.
* Analyze the store's Key Performance Indicators, such as sales, employee turnover, food safety, and health & safety standards.
* Set the example for your team by keeping a cool head under pressure.
* Manage weekly stock orders and ensure that all incoming orders are checked for quality.
* Maintain a schedule for all equipment for preventative maintenance and calibration purposes.
* Ensure optimal inventory and adherence to opening and closing procedures.
* Maintain operational standards/cleanliness within the restaurant, such as food quality, food hygiene standards, customer experience, speed of service, and hospitality.
* Implement the health and safety program in the restaurant, focusing on the accurate and prompt reporting of any accidents or incidents to the Regional Manager.
* Be available to work a variety of shifts as part of the management team.
* Maintain a high level of food hygiene and food safety.
* Handle customer complaints effectively.
* Ensure that positive health and safety procedures and instructions are followed.
Qualifications
* Must have a flexible and disciplined approach to work.
* Able to work as part of a team and independently.
* Have a reasonable standard of numeracy and literacy.
* Previous experience of running restaurants is preferred.
* Experience of working in a food environment would be advantageous but not essential.
