Commissioning Engineer – Water Sector
(Clean Water, Wastewater, Chemical Dosing | Infrastructure & Non-Infrastructure)
PSR are working with a leading UK utilities contractor on a fantastic opportunity for Commissioning Engineers with strong experience in the water industry. You'll be involved in designing, building, and maintaining critical water infrastructure for major clients across the UK.
This is a flexible role with a mix of home, site, and office work — ideal for those based in the North West, or Midlands.
The Commissioning Engineer role involves:
* Delivering commissioning on clean/waste water projects
* Working across mechanical, electrical & control systems
* Leading commissioning documentation, inspections, and site readiness
* Client-facing role with coordination of subcontractors and H&S input
* Involvement in FAT, iFAT and quality assurance activities
We’re looking for:
* Proven commissioning experience in the water industry
* Knowledge of treatment processes, dosing systems, pumps, valves, instrumentation
* Electrical or control systems background (PLC/MCC experience ideal)
* Familiarity with standards like WIMES, DWI, WRAS
* EUSR, SMSTS, CSCS and strong IT skills (Excel, Word, MS Project)
