Position: Employee Relations Specialist
Salary: Competitive salary, 10% annual bonus potential, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays rising with years served, and a company pension scheme with highly competitive contribution rates.

Working Arrangement: Hybrid working, attending the office 2-3 days per week, including Wednesdays & Thursdays.

About the Role
1. Providing written/telephone expert ER advice and guidance to managers at all levels across the business.
2. Managing a portfolio of ER cases providing progressive tailored advice, scheduling and prioritising activities based on the risk assessment and needs of each case.
3. Reviewing/drafting letters and documents related to ER cases and providing feedback to managers.
4. Coaching and upskilling managers in all aspects of people management including robust decision-making, fairness, and consistency of application of our ER policies and procedures.
5. Ensuring all case management details are recorded accurately on our People Case Management system and that cases are proactively managed and driven through to conclusion.
6. Reporting into the ER Advisory Services Team Leaders, collaborating with wider HR teams and stakeholders to address complex ER matters.
7. Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of the ER Advisory Service.
About You
To truly excel in this role, you will possess, and be able to evidence, the skills and experience listed below:
1. In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
2. Excellent written and telephone communication skills.
3. Experience in coaching and upskilling managers.
4. Questioning and analytical skills.
5. Proven ability to deliver commercially savvy, pragmatic HR solutions to complex Employee Relations cases, with a strong focus on managing risk.
6. Ability to work in partnership with customers and stakeholders to deliver business requirements.
7. Ideally CIPD qualified (level 5).
8. Passion for continuous improvement and self-development.
