Description Grade 6- £38,058- £41,442pa Havering Social Care Academy Officer The London Borough of Havering is looking to recruit a Social Care Academy Officer to contribute to the delivery and support the training and development of staff across Adults and Children's services, including foster carers and providers. Improving outcomes for Adults & Childrens Social care and support at Havering. Purpose of the role To support the Principal Social Worker & the Havering Social Care Academy Workforce Development Manager in the delivery of a Learning and Development strategy for the workforce across Adults and Children’s Social Care within Starting Well, Living Well, & Ageing Well (People Directorate). To contribute to the planning and implementation of workforce development strategies help the service to develop its employees through the commissioning of Learning and Development programmes and initiatives including specialist learning for specified service areas. To support activity around the children’s and adults social care workforces including local and national data collection, communication with regulators, gathering information for employer health checks.
