Senior Activities Support Organiser – Oakbridge, Windsor

Our Community Lives Day Services at Boyn Grove (Maidenhead) and Oakbridge (Windsor) offer stimulating activities where people can develop skills, find companionship and improve their well-being. Having the chance to mix with other people, visit different places and learn new things can help stop individuals from feeling bored or isolated. Our exciting range of activities are delivered through a person-centred approach, tailoring each activity to individual's needs and wishes and supporting people to achieve their personal goals.
We are recruiting for a Senior Activities Support Organiser to work full-time – the hours are 0830 and 1630 Monday to Friday, but may vary on occasion.
As a Senior Activities Support Organiser, you will oversee a team of ASOs and ensure the smooth running of events and activities through the day. You may be required to lead in absence of a service manager and to support staff with training and development. In addition, you will also be leading by example when providing customers with high quality, person-centred support and care whilst visiting the Day Service, supporting with such tasks as personal care and administering medication.
You will also be involved in organising and hosting activities for our customers during their visit, ensuring they meet their needs and are delivered effectively. There are regular on-site activities such as arts and crafts, quizzes, Rebound Therapy and making music, and plenty more in the community such as bowling, discos and nature walks.
This role requires you to be able to drive as you will be based across both our sites in Windsor and Maidenhead, as well as working in the community for off-site activities.
