What We’re Looking For Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with proven experience in a similar leadership role in the care sector. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on person-centred care. Strong leadership abilities, including coaching, mentoring, and team-building skills. Proficiency in maintaining electronic records and databases. Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work well under pressure. Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and a solutions-focused approach. Leading and supporting the nursing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and training as needed. Collaborating with healthcare professionals to create and implement individualised care plans for residents. Maintaining accurate and updated medical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations. Monitoring and assessing the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. Acting as a liaison between the nursing staff, residents, and their families, fostering open communication and addressing any concerns or inquiries. Participating in recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations of nursing staff. Staying current with developments in nursing best practices, continuing education, and regulatory requirements.
