We are seeking an experienced Locum Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team. Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert psychiatric care to patients within your area of specialty.
* Conduct clinical assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning for mental health conditions.
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care.
* Ensure accurate and timely documentation in line with legal and organizational requirements.
* Offer support, guidance, and training to junior medical staff as necessary.

Essential Requirements
To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Medical Qualification:
* A recognized medical degree (e.g., MBBS or equivalent).
Registration:
* Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a license to practice.
* Inclusion on the Specialist Register in Psychiatry (or eligibility for entry via CESR).
Qualifications:
* Completion of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Psychiatry or equivalent.
* MRCPsych or an equivalent postgraduate qualification.
Experience:
* Proven clinical experience in a psychiatric subspecialty.
* Demonstrated expertise in managing complex psychiatric conditions.
Compliance Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Up-to-date mandatory training certificates (e.g., safeguarding, basic life support).
* Valid occupational health clearance, including evidence of immunity to Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella.
