A client of ours in the Basildon area are recruiting a Purchasing Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm or 8:30am - 5:30pm (can be flexible for the right candidate) and paying 26,000 per annum depending on experience. This role offers hybrid working after a successful probation, working 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
Working in a team of 6, key duties include but are not limited to:
* Quoting and purchasing of hardware and software
* Resolving issues with orders and dealing with customer queries.
* Warehouse duties such as handling deliveries, collections and stock take.
* Proactive hardware reporting and quoting for upgrades and following up on orders.
* Maintaining the system with correct products, contacts, suppliers and clients.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Purchasing Administrator position:
* Previous experience in purchasing and quoting
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong Microsoft Office skills essential
* High attention to detail
* Problem solving and process minded
* Experience within the IT industry desirable but not essential.
