We are looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to join our team. The expectation of the Sales & Marketing Manager is to plan and execute our local marketing and PR strategy. A confident and highly sociable networker, you will be the face of the business and attend meetings and events, helping to drive local partnerships and marketing opportunities where possible. The Role:
1. Manage marketing calendar, working ahead with the Managing Director and support all promotions to be advertised, artwork printed according to deadlines.
2. Ensure Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and AdWords are relevant to hotel and current campaigns.
3. Ensure that all activities are advertised on social media according to deadlines.
4. Lead the marketing meetings to discuss marketing related events, promotions, initiatives and generally share the marketing calendar content with everyone.
5. Ensure that personal KPI’s are achieved.
6. Review and reply to positive reviews on Google, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and all other social media platforms.
7. Implement new marketing campaigns.
8. Create attractive in-house marketing material and ensure it is updated throughout the hotel.
9. Drive online marketing initiatives including e-marketing, social media (e.g., Twitter and Facebook), blogs and online advertising.
10. Monitor competitor activity and manage tactical campaigns.
11. Increase website traffic.
12. Introduce creative and innovative techniques, which are led by careful strategic planning.
13. Provide articles, newsletters, website content for the hotel website and text for all third-party websites.
14. Sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in the press – local, regional, national and specialist publications – or on the radio, depending on the organisation and the campaign.
15. Writing and proofreading copy.
16. Liaising with designers and printers and organising photo shoots.
17. Arranging for the effective distribution of marketing materials.
18. Work with and support the sales team to drive business directly into the hotel.
