SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £80 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
About the Role:
Teach Match is currently recruiting passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of outstanding special educational needs (SEN) schools in Birmingham and the surrounding areas. Whether you're an experienced SEN TA or looking to gain experience in special education, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
* Support students with a range of special educational needs (ASD, SEMH, PMLD, SLD, MLD)
* Work 1:1 or in small groups, following EHCPs and teacher guidance
* Use creative and adaptive methods to support pupil development
* Assist with personal care, if required
* Monitor and record progress, working closely with SENCOs and teachers
* Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as an SEN TA, Learning Support Assistant, or similar role (preferred but not essential)
* A caring, patient, and adaptable approach
* Knowledge or experience of SEN such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, PMLD is highly desirable
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one via Teach Match)
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Relevant qualifications such as Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate are a plus.
