Contract Personnel are recruiting for a Recruitment Consultant to work in our busy Thetford office on a permanent basis.
The ideal fit for our Thetford team is someone who is proactively coming up with different approaches to fill out client's bookings whilst giving them outstanding service that keeps them engaged with our business; after all, recruitment is all about building relationships!
Hours of Work: 09:00am-17:30pm, Monday to Friday. We offer an on-call service to our clients, so you will be on call on a rotational basis with colleagues, this will be after full training and with full support from our Operations Manager.
Salary: Depending on experience along with a generous bonus structure after completion of training. 22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, increasing to 24 days after 6 months and by 1 day a year up to 29 days.
What our consultants do on a day-to-day basis:
1. Identify suitable candidates for our client's needs through various channels including job boards, social media, our front office CRM system, as well as attending job fairs and getting recommendations from our current temps.
2. Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and fit for our clients' requirements. Being a people person is essential in this role; the better we get to know our candidates, the easier it is to fill our clients' requirements!
3. Find suitable assignments for our candidates by presenting them to our current and prospective clients. Calling clients and introducing our services and candidates is a significant part of the day-to-day duties here at CPL.
4. Work as part of a team to ensure we maximize our candidates and ensure our clients' requirements are filled promptly on the day they are received.
5. Make introduction calls to our current and prospective clients while providing insight into what we offer as a recruitment partner. Book meetings with our clients and conduct daily check-ins to ensure a personal approach is always given.
6. Use our bespoke CRM system daily to maximize our current candidate and client pool, as well as all other duties necessary to be a successful recruiter.
What we are looking for in our next team member:
1. Strong verbal, communication, and admin skills, both verbal and written.
2. Someone who is happy to pitch in when all hands are needed on deck.
3. Previous experience in recruitment or a similar role is desirable but not essential.
4. A passion for helping others succeed and a hunger to be the best Recruiters known in our field.
5. It will be a benefit if you own and drive your own car, but it is not essential.
