We are looking to recruit an experienced and dedicated team leader for our learning disability service across the Blackpool (FY1) area. We are recruiting staff on a temporary to permanent basis where you will be on a probation period for 12 weeks before you move across permanently.
Role:
* You will be responsible for the operational management of a high-quality supported living service located in Blackpool. You will ensure that the service provided is responsive to the needs and preferences of service users and their families. You will ensure that all contract requirements and expectations are fully met.
* You will ensure that service users receive individualized person-centered support which enables them to enjoy a fulfilling and valued life, to participate in the community, and to develop their abilities as fully as possible.
We require:
* At least two years’ experience of supporting people with learning disabilities.
* Experience of staff supervision and management.
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK (We do not offer sponsorship).
* Ability to provide 2 references (one from current or most recent employer).
* Familiarity with current government policy, CQC guidance, and accepted good practice in the provision of learning disability services.
* Enhanced DBS that is on the update service (Desirable).
Hours:
Full time - 37.5 hours per week to be worked flexibly according to a rota and to include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Salary:
Weekday: £14.90 per hour
Night/Weekend: £15.25 per hour.
