Graduate Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic graduate to join our client school as a Cover Supervisor starting in September. This is a full-time position, and though it starts out as a temporary placement, depending on how the successful candidate gets on, this is an open vacancy at the school so could turn into a permanent role.
The successful candidate should expect to earn up to £15.50 per hour (depending on experience). The school is situated in the heart of Old Trafford and is a short walk away from various public transport options including bus and tram.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise students in the absence of their regular teacher
2. Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
3. Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans across various subjects
4. Support students with their learning and provide assistance when needed
5. Liaise with teaching staff and senior leadership team as required
Requirements:
1. Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
3. Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively
4. Flexibility and adaptability to work across different subjects and year groups
5. A genuine passion for education and supporting student development
