Community Integrated Care is one of the UK's largest health and social care charities. We work hard to enrich the lives of people with many different care needs. It's exciting and rewarding work, and we're full of pride and passion for what we do.
We are recruiting for a Support Worker to support two men and two ladies, aged between 20 and 59 in their own home in Stonehaven. Here, we support individuals to live the best lives possible by assisting them with whatever they need. They are very active in their community and enjoy going to local clubs/groups, meeting new people, singing, dancing, going shopping, spending time in their garden and exploring the local town and surrounding area.
The people we support are mobile but some require a bit of help getting out into the community. In addition to providing support with activities, you may be required to support with personal care and medication. Your main goal will be to provide the right support so they can be as independent as possible and are supported to make their own choices.
We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker for 39 hours per week.
Our team provides support 24/7, so we are looking for flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including some weekends and sleepovers. The shift patterns are:
* 08.00 - 15.00
* 15.00 - 22.00
* 22.00 - 10.30 (sleepover)
We know it takes a special person to work in social care, and we recognize that not everyone who would be perfect for the role will have professional experience. This is why we're really passionate about recruiting based on individuals' values.
Naturally, it is important too that you share our company values:
* We Include; We Deliver; We Aspire; We Respect; We Enable, which are at the heart of everything we do and ensure that we deliver high quality, consistent care and support.
People's values are important to us, so we look for people with:
* Patience
* Empathy, compassion, and sensitivity to others
* A strong work ethic
* Reliability
* Honesty
* Determination
* A problem solver
* Resilience
