Client Local Authority in Croydon Job Title Public Health Project Support Officer Pay Rate £200 DAILY UMBRELLA Hours 36 Hours a week(Mon-Fri) Duration Contract up until March 31st 2025 Location Hybrid working-Office based from Bernard Weatherill House,Croydon 2-3 days a week Description Role Purpose: >To project manage and support the delivery of different project work-streams and activities for the delivery of the Substance Misuse Public Health projects and contracts. >To identify key project stakeholders and develop and implement strategies and approaches to establish positive, effective working relationships with them. >To prepare high-quality project related and other documentation to support the project delivery and effective change. >To carry out analysis and research, gaps in services, identifying opportunities to deliver value for money, and contributing towards service re-design. >To comply with the Office of Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID) monitoring requirements related to the project's data returns and grant conditions. Key Accountabilities: Developing and maintaining high-quality project management documentation to support delivery and effect change. Identification of key stakeholders, building relationships and effective stakeholder management Support financial management of the specific grant fund Ensuring performance and financial information is collated and reported to grant providers Essential knowledge: Desirable: Knowledge of project management techniques, such as PRINCE2 or equivalent Knowledge of business process modelling, data analysis, business requirements specification and customer journey mapping Knowledge of the causes and consequences of drug and alcohol dependence Knowledge of criminal justice orders for drug/alcohol treatment Knowledge of harm reduction for drug/alcohol use Essential experience: Experience of project delivery Experience of facilitating project meetings Experience of working within multi-disciplinary project teams Experience of workshop design and facilitation Experience of working with external stakeholders Experience of designing and delivering services for vulnerable people Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
