Our venues offer everything from shimmering mocktails and potions to bespoke cocktails, this coupled with our biggest attraction, the Escape Rooms, from Magical to Fantasy to Horror, we have a game for everyone to play and for all ages!
The salary is competitive starting at £23,000 up to £26,000 based around an introductory/probationary period, experience, and the initial opening of the venue.

Ensuring a happy team is extremely important as we develop here at The Escapologist; we believe they are the front and the face of the business, so ensuring your team is engaged, supported, and motivated is a very important part of the position.
Role Specifications and Expectations:
1. Working with the Team to ensure all daily/weekly/monthly targets and objectives are achieved, including daily/weekly/monthly forecasting, planning, and reviewing KPI's.
2. On-Site Duties – Ensuring all site-based tasks are completed to required standards, i.e. check sheets/cleanliness/weekly & monthly procedures using our integrated systems.
3. Good Business Financial understanding and management, including basic P&L understanding, outgoings, and costing with figures and reporting skills.
4. Supporting with maintaining the Health & Safety aspects within the venue and ensuring all aspects are kept up to date and in line with current guidelines.
5. HR & Team Management - Using our in-house HR facilities and ensuring all team members are managed appropriately, including recruitment and training, rota management along with holiday and absence processes. Also, supporting with aspects of investigations and disciplinary actions if necessary.
6. Office and Administrative Responsibilities, including cash handling and takings reconciliation procedures and ensuring back of house systems are kept in order and completed to standard.
7. Stock Management - stock ordering and rotation, data entry, and end of weekly/monthly procedures.
8. Social Media and Marketing - Supporting the creation and management of various social media accounts, maintaining them to the highest standard and quality to effectively promote the business. Including monitoring communication on all channels and ensuring all are responded to appropriately and in a timely manner with reliable complaints management and handling.
