This important role will provide a comprehensive and effective service to support the smooth and efficient running of the Community Based Teledermatology Photography service. To process data and information from clinical photographic requests, using a range of computer systems in a timely way; being mindful of data protection and security at all times. Liaising with administration, clinical staff, support staff, patients and relatives; both face to face, electronic media and telephone communication, regarding the Teledermatology service. Responsible for gathering relevant clinic information to aid the photographers work scheduling. Booking in patient details and assisting with the image management such as copying files. To provide reception services - meeting and greeting patients and staff. Assist the clinical photographer during teledermatology photographic sessions. To act as chaperone to photographers/patients during photographic session as required. Assist in reassuring anxious patients/relatives/carers regarding the photography policy and procedures prior to their photographic session.
