The postholder will be an integral part of the General Paediatric service, delivering weeks as the named service consultant, as well as contributing to the second on call rota, year-round.
Outside their service weeks, the successful applicant will also be expected to contribute to the hospital paediatric overnight on-call rota, covering General Paediatrics, Medical HDU and speciality patients.
General Paediatrics provide rapid access clinics and routine general paediatric clinics and the postholder will be expected to deliver these in a variety of locations across the city to allow patients to access healthcare closer to home.
An exciting new development with BrisDoc is the provision of same day telephone advice to Primary Care in order to avoid admission and to ensure the right care in the right place at the right time;

The successful applicant will also be expected to contribute to the safeguarding rota during 4 service weeks / year.
