PMO Reporting and Systems Specialist St Albans (hybrid working) Due to growth plans we have a newly created role for a PMO Reporting and Systems Specialist. You will be responsible for driving the development, maintenance, and delivery of comprehensive reports and dashboards to provide insights into Project & Portfolio performance, resource utilization, and key metrics. You will lead the development and maintenance of the standard set of IT performance dashboards along with the wider IT team. Your role will involve ensuring the accuracy and integrity of project data within PMO systems through regular data audits and corrective actions. You will also manage and support PMO tools and systems, including configuration, customization, and troubleshooting, acting as the main point of contact for system-related inquiries. Additionally, you will identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes and systems, implementing best practices to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. Collaboration with project managers, team members, and stakeholders will be essential to understand reporting requirements and deliver timely, accurate information. Training and support will also be provided to PMO staff and project teams on the use of reporting tools and systems, including the creation of user guides and documentation as needed. Within this role, there is an opportunity to be instrumental in supporting the Project Management Office (PMO) and the wider IT department by providing expertise in reporting, data analysis, and systems management to ensure the successful delivery of projects and programs. This role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of project management processes and the effective communication of project-related information to stakeholders. The Key Requirements Technical Skills: Proficiency in PMO tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Power BI). Advanced Excel skills are essential. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to interpret complex data and present findings in a clear and concise manner. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
