If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Senior Support Worker in Farnborough About the Role: As a Senior Support Worker, you will lead by example, providing high-quality, person-centered care and support to individuals in our supported living homes. You will play a key role in mentoring and guiding the support worker team, ensuring that individuals receive tailored care that promotes their independence and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities: Providing direct support to individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs. Leading shifts, including coordinating team activities and ensuring smooth operations. Supporting the development and delivery of person-centered care plans. Acting as a role model and mentor for other support workers. Conducting key administrative tasks, including recording care notes and reporting. Promoting positive relationships with individuals, families, and external agencies. Shifts: Early shifts Late shifts Weekends Bank holidays What We're Looking For: Proven experience in a similar role within supported living or social care. A strong understanding of supporting individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. A compassionate and professional approach to care. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays. Requirements: Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent (or willingness to work towards it). Enhanced DBS check (provided by the company).
