New opportunity for an Audit Assistant Manager to join a growing team in Edinburgh. This role would suit an experienced Audit Senior/Supervisor seeking a step-up, or an experienced Assistant Manager seeking a progressive and supportive workplace.
As Assistant Manager, you will be involved in the supervision and review of audit trainees and seniors as they carry out audit assignments on and off client site. You will be a key point of contact for clients, providing scheduling information, advice and answers to any client queries or issues raised by the team.
You will support Partners and Managers with the successful running of the audit practice, ensuring client deadlines and expectations are met. You will also act as a mentor and support for junior members of your team, highlighting any additional training needs.
In addition, you will develop your own commercial abilities and professional network through involvement with business development activities (including client tender work), client meetings, CPD, and related events throughout the year.
Overall, you will act as an excellent ambassador for your team and wider business, role modelling and demonstrating a high level of professionalism in all workplace interactions.
You must be CA/ACCA/ACA qualified with a minimum of 2 years PQE leading on UK audit assignments from initial stages through to completion. Experience of working with OMB clients highly advantageous. You will enjoy leading a team and acting as a key point of contact for clients and colleagues. Excellent communication, time management and problem solving skills are essential.
