Materials Planner
Oxfordshire (Haddenham, Aylesbury)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Overall ownership of portfolio of materials planning across the full UK network.
2. Own materials inventory level to guarantee the balance between service level and cash, in line with business yearly targets.
3. Develop and maintain strong working relationship with NPD, procurement, and supply functions to ensure that the monthly planning cycle delivers for the business and has the right level of governance across the end-to-end process.
4. Identify from the long term plan any capacity or supply gap and inventory strategy.
5. Manage significant material availability challenges across multiple UK sites and lead communication to business contacts across impacted customers.
6. Own short term regional availability management.
7. Develop a long-term material requirement for assigned suppliers/material and develop long term planning strategy in collaboration with procurement to secure right monthly capacity.
8. External material planning interface with strategic suppliers driving joint value creation initiatives.
9. Collaborate with procurement on business continuity plans for key strategic suppliers or capacity constrained suppliers.
10. Develop and own Service Level execution agreement with key strategic supplier to drive cost, cash, service performance.
11. Implement Material Supply Management Capability framework including materials strategic master planning.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
1. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain or a related business field.
2. Previous experience in a similar planning role or within Supply Chain, preferably in food industry.
3. Experience of working within a Team-oriented and collaborative environment.
4. Experienced of the SAP MM Module and MRP.
5. Advanced Excel skills.
6. Attention to details, comfortable with numbers.
7. Good communication skills.
8. Ability to deal with complexity and change.
9. Strong time management and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
10. Customer focused.
11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
12. Strong user of IT.
