Registered Veterinary Nurse - Small Animal
Welcome to Kingston Vets, part of IVC Evidensia - we are proud to be one of the few remaining truly mixed practices in our local region, looking after Pets, Farm and Equine departments with 3 sites across beautiful Somerset & Dorset. We have a rare opportunity for a team orientated, confident Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team at our Grove Dene Clinic in Yeovil.
The role will involve all the usual first opinion nursing duties including consulting and assisting with routine ops, however we encourage our nurses to follow their passion by supporting them to focus on what they enjoy most. Our practice is well equipped with facilities to support our caseload including routine neutering (including lap spays), dentals, vaccinations and consults.
You will join our team of 2 RVNs at our Yeovil site, supported by our vet and administrative teams. Across the sites, we have 2 certificate holders and we specialise in Laparoscopic spays. We hold regular events for team-building purposes and support local charities, events and shows, and we hold regular meetings for the farming community.
What you'll bring to our team
* Experience of working in veterinary practice with hands-on experience in a clinical setting.
* Proficiency in laboratory procedures related to animal care and diagnostics.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

* Ideally you will be a clinical coach/supervisor or have a desire to work towards this.
