The Cover Supervisor will be responsible for supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that students remain on task and follow the set work. This includes managing classroom behaviour, delivering pre-prepared lesson plans, and ensuring a productive learning environment.
Minimum Requirements
* Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Previous experience working in an educational setting
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Understanding of classroom management techniques
* Ability to follow and deliver lesson plans effectively
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Higher education qualifications in Education or related field
* Additional training in behaviour management or safeguarding
The Cover Supervisor will work full-time hours on a contract basis, typically following the school's term calendar. The role may involve working with students of varying ages and abilities in a classroom setting.
