Job Title: Complex Care Support Worker

Wage/Salary: GBP20.80 Weekdays and GBP22.80 Weekends Gross per Hour

Essential Qualifications: Previous experience supporting a young client (early years) with complex care and medical needs (suctioning and epilepsy)
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: 12-hour shifts, at 7.00am/pm. Days and Waking Nights. Offering up to 3 shifts per week
About the Client:
Thomas, aged 5, has complex care needs due to a Perinatal Hypoxic Brain Injury resulting in profound developmental delay. He has dystonic cerebral palsy, a PEG in situ, epilepsy, and requires suctioning. He benefits from a structured routine and receives support from multiple medical professionals.
Role Overview:
The Support Worker will provide assistance in all aspects of Thomas's care, including his complex medical needs. Previous experience with epilepsy and suctioning is essential. Training will be provided, and the role includes providing adhoc support during day and night shifts.
Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will have excellent experience in supporting young children with complex medical needs, alongside a compassionate and nurturing nature. You will be part of Team Thomas, working collaboratively to ensure his safety and happiness.
