We are looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to oversee high-value engineering construction projects within the gas industry. This role will involve managing diverse projects across the UK, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
Compliance & Safety:
* Ensure full compliance with UK regulations, CDM requirements, and company policies.
* Promote a safety-first culture, conducting regular audits and risk assessments.
Project Planning & Delivery:
* Develop and execute detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource management.
* Oversee project delivery from inception to completion, ensuring client satisfaction and alignment with company goals.
* Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
Technical Oversight:
* Review and interpret engineering designs and drawings using AutoCAD.
* Collaborate with client design teams to resolve technical challenges and incorporate necessary changes.
* Deliver projects in line with NEC4 contractual requirements.
* Monitor budgets, ensure cost control, and maintain profitability.
* Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and resource utilisation updates.
* Manage multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, civil, and E&I engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
* Foster collaboration, performance excellence, and adherence to safety standards.
Stakeholder Management:
* Serve as the primary liaison for clients, regulators, and other key stakeholders.
* Ensure transparency and alignment with project objectives through effective communication.
* Identify opportunities to streamline processes, adopt innovative solutions, and improve efficiency and quality.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager within the engineering construction industry, particularly in gas infrastructure projects.
* Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction practices, and gas industry regulations (e.g., COMAH, IGEM).
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and/or Primavera P6.
* Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or HNC/HND with equivalent experience).
* Project management certifications such as PRINCE2, APM, or PMP.
* Knowledge of NEC4 contracts.
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to project sites.
* Experience in large-scale gas pipeline or terminal projects.
* Familiarity with hydrogen, decarbonisation, or renewable gas initiatives.
* Expertise with advanced project management tools and AutoCAD features.
* Membership in professional bodies such as ICE or APM.
