Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in providing care and assistance to young 16-18 asylum seekers. The ideal candidate will have experience in various care settings and possess the necessary skills to support vulnerable individuals.
You will need to show a good understanding on compiling support packages tailored to the individual, you will also need to have a good understanding of the need to risk assess and have the ability to process and implement a risk assessment.
Skills
Duties:
* Supporting young people to live independently within the community and reach and follow their pathway goals.
* Building positive relationships with Young People.
* Supporting Young people to appointments or outings as needed.
* Offering support with attending clinical appointments.
* Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of young persons.
* Maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Experience
The successful candidate should have experience in the following areas:
* Senior care.
* Childcare.
* Risk assessing.
* Patient care in various settings.
* Compiling documentation to support individual needs.
- Report writing to a high standard, great communication skills.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a care setting either with adults or children.
- The ability to work alone and as part of a team.
- A willingness for self-improvement in learning and gaining knowledge.
- Good knowledge in safeguarding.
- Level 3 in adult or child care.
- Knowledge and understanding of support planning and risk assessing.
- Valid clean driving license for transporting and supporting.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor towards those in need of support.
