Here at the Mick George Group we are looking for a Asbestos Operative to join the team. Job Overview: To support the business in achieving its aims and objectives through the delivery of asbestos management and removal projects Responsibilities: - Undertake asbestos removal works in compliance with relevant Legislation/Regulations, MGE Policies and Standard Operating Procedures and to the required health and safety standards - Ensure that all plant and materials are maintained and utilised to ensure safe working practices - Ensure full understanding of Method Statement and Risk Assessment prior to works commencing and ensure all controls are in place - Undertake all site works in liaison with site Supervisor, other site staff and Client to ensure all works proceed to programme and budget and to Clients satisfaction - Complete all required site checks, record on appropriate forms in conjunction with site Supervisor - Undertake all daily checks on site as required - Undertake TNA analysis on Supervisor on a project by project basis - Participate in wider objectives of the company Qualifications/Experience: - Demonstrable successful experience of working in a similar role (Qualified Licenced Asbestos Operative) - Committed to providing first rate customer service - Knowledge of relevant legislation including Health and Safety - The written communication skills to complete all site paperwork to a high standard - Honest & reliable - Ability to undertake work as instructed by site Supervisor amidst challenging demands on time - Working additional hours as required, by the needs of the business.
