Lunchtime Supervisor / Catering Assistant Posted: 15 November 2024 Closing Date: 1 December 2024 Interviews: Expected 6 December Salary: Grade B, point 2 £12.26 per hour Hours of work: Term time only We are keen to hear from candidates who can work between 7.5 and 20 hours per week over the lunchtime period (between 10am-3pm), please indicate your preferred hours and pattern of work on your application form Location: Kings Priory School Start Date: As soon as possible We are currently seeking reliable and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisors and Catering Assistants to join our dedicated team and help ensure that our pupils have a safe, enjoyable, and well-managed lunchtime experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who is reliable, punctual and can work effectively as part of a team. You’ll demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to engage with children of all ages. As a lunchtime supervisor you’ll supervise students during lunchtime in the dining hall and support them with their meals, providing assistance where necessary, and promoting healthy eating habits. You’ll manage queues, ensure safe entry and exit from the dining area, and help maintain a calm and organised environment. As a catering assistant you’ll prepare and serve food working in line with the school food plan, complying with food safety guidelines, to provide food that is nutritious and appealing. We have hours available across both roles so please indicate your preference of role on your application which may be a mixture of both. Why work with us?
