We are looking for a Goods In and Out Operative!

At our Production site based in Isleham, Cambridgeshire we are looking for a diligent, self-motivated team player who can exceed in their duties to help us retain our position as a leading conventional roots supplier in the UK.
You will join us on a fulltime permanent contract.
Your main working pattern will be a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 12:00pm to 00:00am.
Responsibility
The Job Role
Reporting directly to the Goods In and Out Manager you will play a key role in ensuring product is dispatched, safely, correctly and in a timely manner.
The responsibilities of the role include:
1. Communicate with hauliers and internal customers.
2. Unloading and intake of raw material.
3. Ensure all customer orders are picked with 100% accuracy.
4. Ensure all vehicles are loaded in full and on time.
5. Enter all required information into Navision with 100% accuracy.
6. Ensure that correct dated product is loaded and only roll back on the agreement of the Planning Team.
7. Report any faults on MHE and/or shunter immediately to your Manager and/or Engineering manager/Engineer in your Manager's absence.
8. Report all accidents and near misses immediately to your Manager/HSE Manager. This MUST be followed up with a near miss/accident report.
9. Ensure cleanliness at all times in the loading/finished goods cold store, office and perimeter.
10. Support the production and yard forklift drivers with their duties when required.
11. Assist in emptying trailers with trays and pallets.
What we are looking for
1. Valid FLT licence (shunter + PPT licence also preferable – training can be provided)
2. Previous experience of working in a production/warehousing environment
3. An ability to show initiative and to work collaboratively with others across the business.
4. Ability to identify different products and pick required amounts toward customer orders
5. Ability to use a handheld scanner.
